I am grateful for this site with so many people sharing their stories and I come to visit almost every day. I haven’t put anything on here that may truly inspire the belief in the Law of Attraction. That is not to say that I don’t have stories where the The Secret has changed my life because it has in so many ways.

This particular story is interesting because it freaked me out a little bit but excited me more than anything. I have watched The Secret many times. I have read The Power and I also have The Magic. The Secret Movie is wonderful because it gave me so many wonderful ideas on how to manifest my dreams and desires. One particular idea came from one of the teachers about how he wanted to attract more cheques in the mail. He whited out the total on his bank account balance and wrote in the amount he wanted to see. I thought, what a great idea.

I was at work and went to my banking website and I printed off a bank statement. I wanted to make it as real as possible so instead of whiting out the total and writing in an amount that I wanted to see in my account, I would type it and print it out and tape it to the statement so that it is as real as the actual statement. Now the amount I planned on was $100,000.00. So I typed it, printed it, and taped to my statement. I put it in my bag and took it home.

When I got home, I pulled out the bank statement I made and I wanted to look at it before I put it on my vision board. What I saw astounded me. I am pretty anal in making sure everything I do is right and perfect and I always double check things including when I’m writing or typing. So when I looked at the statement I made; instead of $100,000.00 it said $1,000,000.00. I then remembered the many spiritual guides I have had in my life and they have said the same thing. “You need to dream big. You don’t dream big enough.” I would never write out a 1 million dollars to myself because I never thought that amount was possible for me or that I deserved it. I changed my mind.

The Universe communicates to us in many, many ways and sometimes through ourselves the Universe will send it’s messages. I know in my heart that the Universe communicated to me that day by putting a bigger amount of money on my statement. I now know why it is important to have this amount. It is my intention to quit my job and go back to school without borrowing money to do so. This money is also giving me the ability to be at home more for my children and also to have a little fun (why not!).

I have printed out the Magic Cheque and wrote in $1,000,000.00. I also put that this is the Universe’s Birthday gift to me as I wrote my Birth date as the day I will be receiving this money. My birthday is in December and I plan on coming back to share my excitement with everyone. Wish you all love, peace and good health.
