I was on my way to work one day, and I had not started out very well. I was running late, it was raining very heavily, and after a long walk to get to the train station, I found out that all the trains from that station had been suspended.

There were no other nearby train stations, and I did not know any other route to take. A subtle gut feeling told me to take a bus but I did not know which one to take! I was standing on the pavement getting more soaked with rain every minute as I stood there thinking about it. As I turned around, a bus pulled up right next to me. The doors opened, and without thinking I just jumped on that bus.

As the bus drove along, I listened to the announcements informing passengers of the upcoming stops, and with a surprise, I realized that this bus was going to stop right outside a train station where I knew I could get a direct train to work from. I poured out gratitude to the Universe at that moment, but the Universe was not done yet!

I got to the train station, got my train, and got to work. As I arrived I checked my watch. It had actually been a shorter journey than the route I normally take! The train station I got off at by using a different train was closer to my workplace and meant I did not have to walk far in the rain, and despite initially running late I actually got to work on time.

The Universe and the LOA can certainly surprise us, and that day I learned that the Universe knows best, even when it comes to everyday journeys!
