The Universe Is Conspiring In My Favor.

New York, NYI am now a LOA believer and practitioner.
Hello to all the practitioners of “The Secret”!
I would like to take this opportunity to share my story regarding the practice of The Secret. I have been reading all the stories you have posted on this website, and I am grateful to the Universe that it is my time to do so, too.
I left my job in December of last year due to the high stress and disregard for human values. After five years as an employee without a salary increase and continuing education, I was at the lowest point of my career. I felt stagnant and unproductive, so I started looking to work temporarily at other healthcare facilities, but without any success.
At that time, being unemployed was the most unfortunate event in anyone’s life since many people, both experienced workers and new graduates, struggled to find work. Furthermore, I am a foreign graduate worker with a bachelor’s degree, and I am competing against master’s and doctorate degree holders.
For four months, I did nothing but stay at home and reflect on my next move with a pessimistic attitude. There were times when I regretted leaving my job, but a tiny thought kept telling me, “It was time.” I don’t know what it meant, but I listened.
I started watching some inspirational movies on YouTube, and one of the recommended programs to watch was The Secret. In a matter of seconds, I clicked to find it and saw it right away. I watched it on Netflix and was in awe. The movie taught me about how I perceive the world and how the world or the Universe, reacts to it. It is the energy from within that feeds and shapes our future through thoughts, words, vibrations, and actions.
I slowly but consistently applied the habit of positive thinking with a positive attitude, the habit of gratitude, eating healthy food, sleeping at the right time, and watching positive, motivational, and inspirational T.V. programs. I posted my resume on a job-search website, internalizing that I would find the perfect job. To manifest my desire for a successful and enjoyable career, I wanted to work in a healthcare facility with the following criteria:
1. A working environment that treats me with respect.
2. Offers continuing education allowance and license renewal reimbursement.
3. Offers tuition assistance for those who wish to attain post-professional studies.
4. Offers comprehensive training.
5. A friendly and helpful company culture with a patient-appropriate clinical focus.
6. A short commute to work.
As I internalized all of these things, strange things started to happen. I was getting phone calls and email messages with job offers and scheduling interviews, an average of two per day. I got interviews and met amazing people, but I turned them down because none of them fulfilled all that I asked for.
Finally, I found a job opening that had all the things that I had been praying for. I successfully passed the interview. I liked the working environment, the short commute, the medical and dental benefits, and the education reimbursement. What was wonderful was that I met my former co-worker, who told me she loved working there. Another bonus was that the facility is one block away from a university that I had been eyeing for some time to pursue my master’s degree.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The lesson here is to never give up on your dreams. Own them, make them happen, and always be thankful for whatever you have, no matter what situation you are in. Being patient is the hardest part, but once you have found what you have been visualizing, it is the most rewarding feeling in the world. It will change us all in a good way!
I would like to say thank you so much to Rhonda, The Secret team, and all The Secret storytellers out there, who keep inspiring and motivating people around the world.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
