The Universe Has A Sense of Humor
Submitted by: Mommy
Tobyhanna, PAA HAPPY stay at home mom and wife. Working on owning my own real estate company someday. I'll keep you posted on that.
A good friend of mine lent me “The Secret” book a few months ago. I was inspired by it immediately.
Story #1 – I didn’t put the LOA into motion until a few weeks ago when my 9 year old daughter entered a school contest. Students were expected to sign into a website where they would be tested in reading and math. They’d collect ribbons for every section that was completed. My daughter collected over 100 ribbons. Grand Prize was an XO Laptop. Second Prize was an iPod Nano. And third prizes were a Digital Camera, Calculator, and Spellchecker. My daughter had her heart set on the laptop. I advised my daughter that the only way to win it was to keep HAPPY thoughts and pray to God and our Universe. I did the same, letting the Universe know that my daughter DESERVED a SMILE on her face, considering that only one friend showed up to her birthday party after sending out 10 invites (needless to say my daughter was devastated). Well, the Universe listened. When my daughter descended the school bus on contest day, she had a SMILE on her face from ear to ear. She won. No, it wasn’t the laptop, it was the iPod. I realized at that moment that the Universe has a sense of humor. I asked for it to put a SMILE on my daughters’ face, and it did.
Story #2 – I decided to manifest a YELLOW (my favorite color) marble. I figured, let me not be selfish and start small. Well, I got my marble within 15 minutes of me asking. Wait. It wasn’t a real solid marble that I found. I was surfing the web for a free game of Mahjong and the website shot me to a game with, you guessed it, marbles. Yes, they were yellow. How’s that for a sense of humor. I didn’t visualize finding a real solid yellow marble, I just asked.
Was I satisfied with the two above outcomes? Yes I was. For both occasions I was not specific and didn’t visualize, yet I still received what I asked for: a smile and a yellow marble. I will continue to practice the LOA with strong and HAPPY visualizations and keep you posted.
Thank you Ms. Byrne and teachers for making us all aware of the powers we have just by focusing on being HAPPY.
