The Tip of the Iceberg

Surprise, AZMy name is Rishel, I turned 33 on November 2nd, and I'm a married mother of 2 wonderful children. My children are 4 (Lillian) and 13 (Jonathan). I'm a shipping manager of a company which fulfills book orders for several sales crews which travel the country. I'm also the owner of a fledgling bath and body company which handcrafts all-natural, aromatherapeutic products, and I teach herbalism, aromatherapy, meditation, and magick in my spare time at no cost to anyone who wishes to learn.
The owner of the company with whom I’ve been employed for nearly 6 years, bought and distributed copies of The Secret to everyone about 2 months ago. He made it mandatory “homework” for everyone to read and apply The Secret to our lives in an effort to raise morale and make production more efficient. Only a handful of us did as we were asked, but the results have been phenomenal.
I still have the “tennis match” in my head all the time, but in the process of improving my work performance, I’ve also eliminated immeasurable amounts of stress from my life. I feel as though a veil has been lifted from my eyes and someone took the heavy pack from my back.
Before I was handed the book, I hated my job, my husband, and my outlook on life. Truly. I was exhausted all the time, and my kids missed out on my attention. I was sick all the time, every part of my body ached, loudly, and I took enough medication each day to make a meal of it. I had high blood pressure and cholesterol, hormonal imbalances, pinched nerves in my back and neck, misaligned vertebrae, acne, arthritis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, borderline diabetes, anxiety disorder, and depression. I began to look forward to dying.
Today, I take one pill a day. I have energy to play and inspire others. I love my job (yes, it’s the same one) and my coworkers (especially my boss – thanks for the book!). Finances are getting better, and I’m inspired daily to make a difference. The difference in the way I FEEL is amazing in a way I never thought possible. My boss didn’t know the can of worms he was opening when he bought the books, but these are the best worms ever! It’s like opening a present every morning.
