When I went to my doctor to get my periodic test results, I was very depressed. I hated my job, my life, myself. I felt like a failure and depression started to develop again, this time enforced by suicidal thoughts. I definitely didn’t expect to hear more bad news. It turned out I had abnormal cells and a lot of them. As a matter of fact I got told I was one step away from cervical cancer and was sent to have a biopsy at a specialist hospital. Two weeks later I came back to get my results from ‘biopsies’ (two of them) and the doctor told me the changes are alarming and I will have to have urgent surgery to remove the abnormal cells. This absolutely destroyed me.

That same day I had my first meeting with my personal trainer (I needed to lose weight and I hated my body). I told her all about the problems and she gave me a movie to watch, which I’d never heard about before, “The Secret”. This was my only chance, I had to try it. Together with my fiance we decided to regain control over our lives. I gave up smoking the same day and day and night was repeating to myself, “I’m healthy, I feel healthy, things like cancer, don’t happen to me”. After two days I actually believed it and I knew I’d be ok, just had a feeling.

The surgery went well and after three months I had a check up in a hospital, which is when the miracle happened. The doctor told me that on the day of my surgery they had yet another biopsy done but the results were very unusual. The biopsy done on that day was showing very minor changes in a small area! The doctor said, “There is no mistake because the first two biopsies were tested separately and both returned the same bad result”. He said, “In 45 years of practicing medicine I haven’t seen anything like it and if I wasn’t a doctor, I’d say your cells healed themselves.”

It was amazing and gave me faith in my life again 🙂 I started a diet and have lost 15 kg so far (in 2.5 months), haven’t had problem with depression since because I’m too grateful for being alive.

Now I want to use The Secret in getting a better job and more money!
