I have always been an avid reader. I had a favorite book store where I would go frequently, grab a coffee and sit outside reading. Mostly mystery and romance novels.

There was a point where I kept walking by this book called The Secret. I didn’t pick it up right away, yet time after time it kept showing itself to me until finally I did pick it up and it changed my life!

I have been a single mother for 18 years, working a decent job, but still living paycheck to paycheck and always trying to make ends meet. Going into what we called “survival mode” when money was tight and always attracting the kind of men that I didn’t want!

I started taking notes, listening to cd’s and reading up as much as I possibly could, this stuff was amazing. I started a Dream Book, and in my glasses case I cut a picture of my dream car and some miniature million dollar bills where I could look at these all the days when it sat on my desk.

I started focusing on what I DID want in a partner.

Long story short(er), within 2-3 years I am now living with my soul-mate, making almost double the money I did before and have recently bought my dream car. I’m still staring at those million dollar bills, but I know they are on their way!

One of the best things was when my son had said to me “Mom, it’s really good not to have to go into “survival mode” anymore!”.

The Secret found me and to Rhonda Byrnes I am so thankful. You helped me to change my life.
