I wanna start by thanking all the authors who have helped in writing The Secret book. They just have made my life more colorful and amazing. And I also wanna thank my best friend Linda, who shared with me an idea about how to manifest things I want.

I had read The Secret book and watched The Secret movie like two years ago. From the day that I read the book, my life changed. I started to think more positive thoughts and to think about the things I want. When I started to use it and to see if it really worked I did not know how to manifest the things I wanted. I mean, not just the thinking and feeling part, I wanted to do something, like some kind of action, but I did not know how. My best friend had read the book too and we talk so much about this ‘thing’. She told me that she applies a certain method that works for her to manifest the things she wants. She applies what she calls “The Future Memory”, this is writing things as if you already “have” them.

One day I saw a job competition. It was my dream job. I mean I love my job, but I wanted this one more. The problem was that the competition was very, very tough. In our country it is not easy to find a good job, especially like this one was.

Anyway, I applied and I wrote in my notebook “The Future Memory”. I wrote like I was presenting myself. I wrote my name, the place I live and the name of the company I wanted to work for. At the end I had put the date. I waited and nothing happend. And after three weeks from the day that I applied, I thought that I was not gonna get the job. I almost forgot about the job. I remembered it sometimes when I opened the notebook and would see and read “The Future Memory”. This was like “think and let go”. So I really had let go of this desire of mine about this job and I continued on with my life and my routine.

One day, about 3 months later, I opened my email inbox and I saw an email from the company that I had applied to for my dream job. I just could not believe my eyes!!! They had wrote me to tell me that they had reviewed my CV and they wanted me to work for their company!!!

I had asked for my desire and then I had let it go. So this is how it works!! This has inspired me to write down all the things I want in my life. And I am sure I am gonna receive them all.
