I read The Secret and The Power about two years ago in November.  Since then, I have completely changed my life in many ways. Whatever I thought about, would come about.

This year, even though I have been following all of The Secret teachings, some things still have not manifested. So, I routinely come here to read your stories and get inspired.

Thank you to each and every soul in this positive community. You make someone’s life better every day just by sharing your stories, sending positive thoughts, and giving thanks. So much good has come my way over the past year, yet I have never shared it on this site. Today, to acknowledge and thank all of you, I would like to share my first manifestation, which was magical. May it inspire you to attract all the good your heart desires.

My very first practice was to imagine I owned a Michael Kors bag. I went to the (MK) Michael Kors store. Before reading The Secret, I would have never stepped into the store, and I would have dismissed it as anything they had was out of my reach. But this time, I went in and saw each bag with great happiness and gratitude, feeling that I would soon be holding it. I came out of the store imagining its weight around my arm and felt gratitude and joy for having the bag. Then I went about my days as usual, always imagining I was carrying the bag.

For some reason, I always imagined it to be heavy on my wrist. Two weeks later, out of the blue, my colleague at work came around and asked if anyone was interested in some bags she was giving away as she had not used them in a long time. Curious, I asked her to show me and was shocked to see that they were MK bags. I had a chill down my spine as I knew I manifested it.

Mind you, what I was visualizing was only in my mind. Not a single soul knew about it. She gave them to me and wouldn’t accept any money in return. I knew I had discovered The Secret then. I was so content that I decided to give the bags to my sister as I knew she would be really happy. It was enough for me that I manifested it. My heart sang a song it had never sung before. I felt so much joy in giving it away.

The story doesn’t end here, though. Two months later, I went into the MK store and found their signature suede bag was 60% off! And there was just one bag left that was waiting for me. It was so strange that the cashier even called her manager as she couldn’t believe it was 60% off. It was from the latest collection and not meant to be on sale. They honored the tagged price, and I came out with my new bag at a fraction of the price. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I knew it came to me because you receive what you give. And, yes, the bag is very heavy and my arm hurts carrying it, which makes me laugh every time I do!

I am sharing this story for myself, including for all those moments of doubt, and to remind myself that the law works if we let it. Believe it, and you shall receive. Thank you for reading my story.
