After reading The Greatest Secret and The Secret by the beautiful Rhonda Byrne and catching up on her YouTube videos, I decided to do some of the practices to practice manifesting things.

I love owls and really wanted to see one. Not in a barn or with a handler but flying freely outside somewhere. I wasn’t sure if it would happen but I was going to give it a go.

I had painted an owl in flight before so it helped me visualize the image better. I also cut out a picture from a magazine of a tawny owl.

The day it happened was when my husband and I visited Newark, a National Trust place with beautiful walks around the park. Tall trees stood on either side of the path and while we were walking along admiring the beautiful view of greenery, suddenly my husband shouted. “Look! There’s an owl!” As we both looked up, this beautiful, tawny owl dipped its head and flew from the fir tree. Its wings spread out so big and wide and it glided so effortlessly and so smoothly to the next tree. I was speechless! I couldn’t believe what I’d seen in the middle of the day! I almost burst into tears with joy and excitement. My heart was pounding.

My other manifestation was a kingfisher. As we were taking our daughter’s dogs out for a walk I closed my eyes just for a few seconds and visualized a beautiful kingfisher with its gorgeous, fluorescent shimmering colors. And what do you think we saw as we walked across the little bridge overlooking the brook? Yes, there flying across to the other side of the embankment, was a kingfisher! I had goosebumps!
