I’ve been reading these stories and decided to share. I’ll make it quick.
I wanted to drive a Mustang since I was a teenager. It’s always been my favorite car.
Well, I watched The Secret movie and also read the book about two years ago. I learned to make a vision board from what I had learned. I hung it where I could see it daily. The board displayed various things I wanted for my life such as a home, dream job, graduation from college, weight loss, and the 2014 mustang in my favorite color, blue. Although I have acquired more on my board than this car, I’ve chosen to speak about the car because it amazes me the most.
About a month ago I started having trouble with a truck I was driving and found myself in the market to buy a new car. I went to the car lot wanting to buy another truck. My salesman told me the one I wanted would be out of my budget and asked if I had a second choice.
Well I figured I’ve always wanted a Mustang so lets go for it.
He had one!
It was a 2013 Silver Mustang. I was sold !I took it! I rode away that day semi satisfied and it showed.
I rode around in that car for about 3 weeks before the finance company called and said they would not finance me so I had to return the car. I was devastated, I could not understand it at all.
After I returned the car I began my car search again. I went to another lot and found another Mustang. This one was blue. It looked just like the one I had imagined but there were others on this car lot to choose from. The other models were 2013 and black. I test drove a couple of them because they had bells and whistles. I decided on one of the black ones and told the salesman I would pick it up the next day.
When I arrived the next day, the car was sold. Amazing! But that’s okay because there was another black one that would suffice. It was at another lot so I had to wait for a transfer. The salesman and I made arrangements for me to come pick that one up the next night. On my way to the lot the next night, my salesman called and said that car could not be transferred because someone bought it before he could get it. I asked if he still had the blue one and continued to the lot.
Needless to say, the blue one was there. As a matter of fact it’s in my garage. It’s the blue 2014 mustang I had on the vision board. Exact model, color and year. Amazing!
That car was for me and no matter what I tried to do to alter my prior desire, I had attracted the one I drive now. So I couldn’t be happier. It really is a dream come true!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
