The Moment.

EnglandI suffered a lot with stress but to figure out how to calm myself down, I had to to figure out who I was.
The other day I found myself stressing, which is a normal human trait, we all do this. Usually when we stress we stress about something in the past or something in the future. One day I had found myself all worked up. I was stressing about an exam. For a moment I just sat there and thought to myself, that this exam is going to happen whether I stress about it or not, so what good is stressing about it doing? And I suddenly just stopped. I told myself that life is too short, if something stressful is not happening in that very moment then I do not need to be stressed, I need to be grateful for the free feeling of the present. You can’t stop the future but rather than stressing about it just be grateful for the moment!
