I was 24, in a toxic relationship, trying to figure out how to leave, when I found out I was pregnant. Due to all the emotional and mental abuse, I felt broken. Still, I knew I had to get a grip now that I had a baby on the way, and I had to get out.

I was aware that a positive mindset was essential for positive change, so I searched for self-help books online and came across The Secret. I had heard of the law of attraction before and felt it was a sign. I was going to order it at the end of the week, but I had a gender reveal party the next day and my aunt ended up gifting me that exact book! I hadn’t even said anything to her or anyone about the book. Right then, I knew I had found the answer to all my problems.

The more I read, the more I tried to live by the LOA. Still stuck in my toxic relationship due to certain circumstances, I tried to manifest a way out and a way to make sure my baby and I were taken care of. I kept asking the Universe and expressing gratitude. I had reached out for help before with no luck but I didn’t lose faith.

Soon enough, my uncle in Canada said that I could come to live there and he would take care of us until I could move out on my own. It was my only option and I trusted it, so I drove from Florida to Canada.

After a couple of months at my uncle’s, I decided I really wanted my own place for my daughter and me once she was born. A few of my cousins also lived in the house and it was just very rowdy. So I asked the Universe for a 2 bedroom home. I believed I would receive it and I kept envisioning our own place and feeling like I had it already. Even though that seemed impossible, I believed it was possible. Even when my housing application was rejected, I didn’t lose faith. I just kept envisioning it and being grateful for it.

I was getting closer to birth and I started going to counseling for more support. My counselor, in our first session, told me she happened to be part of a housing program for people in situations like mine and said she could help me find a place. The very next day she said there was a 2 bedroom apartment available if I was interested. Just what I was looking for!
We looked at the apartment the day after. I loved it and signed an application that day. I thanked the Universe for being accepted and getting the apartment. Two days later, I was indeed accepted and it was mine!

I moved into the 2 bedroom apartment that I had envisioned, 4 weeks before giving birth. I was in awe. It seriously happened like magic. Exactly what I wanted.

After that experience, I wanted to manifest money. So I started asking and believing that I would get checks in the mail. I didn’t know how in the world that would happen but I just believed I would receive checks. I kept imagining opening my mailbox and seeing checks and how it would feel. I kept telling myself that I am a money magnet and I am abundant.

And sure enough, after a few months, I was getting checks in the mail. And I’m talking checks! I’ve gotten at least 15 unexpected checks in the mail. The biggest amount was actually recently and it was for $940 CAD. Even as I write this it sounds like a load of bull, it’s still hard for me to believe but this is my true experience! I even kept proof of it all to show if I ever tell this story in person!
