While my fiance was stationed overseas we came to the decision once we were married we wanted to try to have a baby. Since I was 16 I had been told by doctors I was not capable of having a child. It was a devastating. But once we made the decision I felt like nothing would stop me from being a mother.

After experiencing 3 previous miscarriages I admit I was cynical but my husband’s faith was unwavering.

In June he came home and we got married. Every little out of the ordinary thing I did he’d laugh and tell me it was because I was pregnant. He even had our friends convinced and in on it too. A few days before he left we told me mother there might be an addition to the family and she of course didn’t think it was possible for us to know so soon. But my motherly instinct had already kicked.

In July my husband went back to his base overseas and I resumed life as usual. 4 days after he boarded his plane we got the confirmation that I was in fact 4 weeks pregnant.

I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant and my husband is home now. We’re are the happiest we’ve ever been and we know anything we need all we have to do is believe. I fully believe if we hadn’t found The Secret we wouldn’t have a little bundle of joy.
