The Military Ball

I am the very proud parent of a U.S. soldier. My son flys Blackhawks for the U.S Army & is going to graduate from Aviation School in July. I am so proud of him! I just have one problem. What do I wear to a military ball? I am so honored to even go to such an event. I asked my son, what do I wear? Elegant and formal, he says.
Well, I have been searching for weeks and have not been able to find a thing to wear. I finally grew desperate and said to myself, why don’t you use the Secret to get your dress? Now why didn’t I think of that sooner! So it was my day off from work, and I said to myself, today is the day I find my dress! I sat down and pictured the dress that I wanted. It was going to be brown with black in color, it was going to be beautiful and elegant, and most important it was going to be cheap!
I did find some beautiful dresses, but they were not cheap! I was on my third store when I saw it. The most beautiful brown and black dress I have ever seen! There was only one and it was my size! I tried it on and it fit perfectly! Then I noticed it did not have a price tag. I had to have this dress, but there was not another dress like it to show the cashier the price. I have to admit I panicked for a minute, as I have been to stores and have been told they could not sell me an item without a tag. I told the cashier, “Please sell me this dress.” I even brought up another formal dress that was on the discount rack, hoping she would sell me it at the same price. Well she called the manager, and he said call our other stores and see if they have the dress to get the price. None of the stores had it. Finally she called the manager again to come, as she could not get a price for the dress. When the manager came I told him, “My son is graduating from Aviation School in 2 weeks, I have been searching for a dress and have not been able to find one. Please sell me this dress – you will make a Military Mom so happy.” This man was so wonderful and caring. He told the cashier, “Sell her the dress for the amount of the other dress, and take ten dollars off on top of that!” I could not thank him enough! This was easily a $200 dress, and I got it for $20!
Thank you so much to the Cashier, the Manager, and most of all thank you Universe! My only regret was why didn’t I use The Secret sooner!
