The Magical Letter.
Submitted by: Lucie U.
FranceA 22 year old girl whose faith is growing each day. Forgive my English, I am from France.
I discovered The Secret a few months ago when I was in a very difficult place in my life. I had an existential crisis, and it wasn’t the first time. As I do when I am in this situation, I started looking on the internet to find answers to my questions. I remember telling myself, “I am done with hard truths this time. For once, I just want to find one person that will tell me that I am right to keep believing in my dreams.” That was when I came across one of the stories on this website and found out about The Secret. I was obviously very ready to find it! Ever since then it’s been magical. I gave up anxiety for gratitude, and every aspect of my life has never felt so easy.
Along with gratitude, I started manifesting small things to strengthen my belief in the Universe. Every time I asked for something, it manifested one way or another. So I decided to try something bigger. I wanted to join a specific Master’s degree program. It was a very selective one but it was the only one that I wanted and I knew it was made for me. So I took a risk and I only applied to this one program.
Then I used visualization. I printed an old admission letter from one of my previous courses and I erased the name of the course to put the new one on it instead. I changed the dates and everything. I kept it safe next to my desk and I would look at it before I started working. I tried to feel like I had actually received it. I also took a folder and wrote the name of my future course on it with a marker pen, so there was no going back.
One day I received an email from the university. It said that I did not make the cut but that I had been placed on the waiting list. I was disappointed because there were 10 people in front of me, so I had almost no chance to be accepted. Nevertheless, I accepted the situation very quickly and got myself back on track. I decided to take a gap year and told myself I would apply again next year. But something in the back of my mind was telling me that something was off, it should have worked this time.
Two months passed by and I wasn’t thinking about it anymore. Then on a random day, I looked at my phone and saw an email from the University. It was breathtaking! Almost two weeks before the beginning of classes, some people had transferred elsewhere so they had a place for me if I still wanted it!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I received my real acceptance letter, and I deliberately kept the other one with it, the one that started it all.
Now I will do the same thing to manifest the love of my life and my other big wishes! Never give up on your dreams, have faith, then let them go and they will become reality! You can have anything you want in life. That is what I wanted to find when I looked on the internet that day, and that is the beautiful truth! Thank you to Rhonda, and thank you, Universe!
