The Magic Practices.
I had heard about The Secret when it first came out and remember going to Walmart and purchasing it. I can not tell you the countless vacations I took the book with me on to read on the plane because I meant to but never did!
Then in late 2013, I had gotten some news that put me in a really bad headspace and I decided to pick up the book and read it. The power of practicing gratitude and saying thank you truly brought positive energy into my life. I then decided to share it with my closest friends who were also going through difficult times, to help them out.
I then heard of The Magic, and just like The Secret, I had purchased it and took it with me everywhere but never got past Day 3 of The Magic Practices.
Thanks to self-isolation, I made it a point to pull out my gratitude journal and focus on the daily practices as I had been going through a challenging time. There were 2 practices that really made me focus on my perfect resolution and giving thanks for it. The first day I did it, I felt I wasn’t as grateful as I could be for my perfect resolution, so the next day, I redid the practice. This time I was envisioning how I was going to get the news and what it was going to be. Throughout that period, every time I hit a bump in the road, I would pause and give thanks that I had my perfect resolution.
It had been almost two months that I was waiting to hear back, and that same day before the business day ended, I got the message that I was waiting for, exactly how I envisioned it! I got the exact news I had wanted. As a result of this, my stress levels have gone down, and I’ll be in a more safe and appreciated environment.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for my perfect resolution!
