The Magic Of The Secret!!
While going through my sister’s stack of books I found The Secret. Its attractive cover and fancy look intrigued me and I started going through it. I must admit at first I was pretty skeptical and I don’t blame myself for that. Like, who wouldn’t be?! A book that claimed to make all your problems magically disappear by just wishing so. If only it were so easy!
But, thanks to The Secret Stories my faith in the book got stronger and stronger.
I made my dream mark sheet stating that I had gotten 98% on my 12 boards and had cracked the CLAT and taken admission in the prestigious NLSIU, Bangalore. Every day I used to glance at that sheet and believe everything had happened exactly as I wrote it and I felt so grateful for that.
Just 15 days were left for my CLAT exam and I was a bit down on morale but I mustered up my faith and never stopped believing.
Then the 11th of May, the D day. Taking my exam turned out to be fabulous! Every question seemed so easy and the answers were just pouring out of my head to the paper like anything. Just the parts that I had studied were asked. The board result came out and I had scored 97.6%! Just like my dream mark sheet. I even secured the 3rd rank in the CLAT and I was able to take admissions to the NLSIU, Bangalore!
The Secret made it very easy for me, a journey that would have otherwise have been very difficult. Had it not been for The Secret, I would have given up on my dream and would have felt complacent with whatever kind of underachievement I had. It gave me support and power during desperate times.
Finally, I can say that The Secret very much works. Do not give up on your dreams. Work hard and The Secret will make it happen for you. It changed my life completely and yours can be next. Hail to The Secret and hail to Rhonda Byrne!
P.S. I wrote this story way back before my exams. Here’s what really happened:
I scored 95.6% on my boards. I got an All India Rank of 106 in CLAT and got NUJS, Kolkata. Although the things didn’t turn out exactly as I had thought, given my level of preparation this was the very best one could have asked for!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
