Howell, NJSingle mom of two great kids with the world in their hands. Grateful for every day!
I recently saved enough money to take my two kids and their two friends on an adventure to a theme park for an overnight Christmas anticipation adventure. We set out eagerly looking forward to a great day and night. Fifteen miles from the park I ran over a large piece of something that caused my tyre to explode. We escaped the impact and I was able to keep the car under control and pull off at the nearest exit. Not knowing where we were, I called for road side assistance to be told it would be at least an hour before help arrived.
We settled down into the cold car and began to wait. I took out my copy of The Power and knew we would be fine. As I read and the kids grew antsy I imagined help arriving and us safely at the park. I raised my eyes to see a man approaching. He wasn’t from the road side assistance as they had called to let me know it’d be another hour or so. He carried a jack and quickly set to work jacking up the car replacing the tyre and helping me reload our luggage. Having little cash on hand, I offered him $20.00 which he refused and told us to just have a great time and be safe. I told the man I wished him good karma in return and he was gone.
The trip was a huge success. We all had a much needed vacation escape and were able to return to our every day life with a new found appreciation for the goodness of the everyday man. There are good people every where and The Secret and The Power draws them to us.
Thank you for making us aware and thankful for the positive people and occasions we are blessed with. Thank you to the mystery man from PA who helped a single mom make her kids and their friends dream come true without expecting anything in return.
Look for good people and they are everywhere!!!!
