I received a beautiful Christmas card with a picture of a lake with two swans on it, surrounded with beautiful trees with fall colors all around. It was so beautiful it touched my heart. I had no money to move to such a nice place but I said a prayer anyway. I prayed, “I want to live where I can see that.” I really felt the prayer like no other. I also knew it was possible regardless of what my life situation was.

It’s funny sometimes how we forget when we get something that we prayed for. Seven months later I moved to a lake house. In July when the summer was over and the leaves turned to orange and red, I was looking out of the window and fell to my knees and screamed “OH GOD I’m so sorry!!! Here I am, here I am!!” There outside was the exact picture of the Christmas card. There were the fall leaves and there just arriving were the 2 swans…. I grabbed my camera and took the picture, I framed it and have it alongside the framed Christmas card to show people the miracle.

That lake had other miracles as time went on and years later when I read The Secret, I knew without knowing I had applied the power of The Secret.
