First I want to say how wonderful it is to have found The Secret and to all the amazing stories everyone has shared to give us hope. I am so happy and grateful to Rhonda Byrne and the entire secret team for helping me realize that I don’t have to focus on the ‘how it’s going to happen’ only what I want to have happen then, believe it and receive it.

It was about six months ago that my fiancé and I started to plan our wedding day. We were both very excited that we would be getting married soon but wondered how we would pay for it. At the time we didn’t know about The Secret but I knew to try to keep a positive attitude and keep moving forward no matter what. About 2 months before the wedding I had been feeling very sick and hadn’t gone to work for nearly a week which was very uncommon for me. On one of those days my fiancé went out without me knowing and bought a couple things for me to get better and The Secret book.

I had wanted a copy of the book for some time but never made the effort to go buy it. At that time we were very short on cash and needed every extra dollar we had to pay for our wedding and get only the necessary things such as food and formula for our girls. I was a little frustrated that she had bought the book but decided to start reading it anyway. About 2 hours into reading I knew she got it just in time for me and I knew it was going to change our lives. I stopped worrying about how we were going to pay for the wedding and just believed that somehow it would get paid for. We went to my parents house that next weekend (they are still building it and help us out by paying me for the work I do) and after I got done my Mom had given me 2 checks. One for my work and the other was a gift to help out with the wedding. I was floored when I looked and saw it was for $1200!

I then found out about the Secret check you can print out and write in the amount you desire. I wrote it out for $3500 since that was how much more we needed to pay for the wedding and on the date of the wedding. To make this short my parents gave us another $2324, our officiate gave us $100 dollar discount, we received $180 in checks for our wedding gifts, and we won over $30 in scratch off tickets. All in all we received $3834 total to pay for our wedding.
