This is the story of our mother. She is 88 years old and lived with her cat in her own apartment. We are four siblings and our youngest brother visited her quite frequently. In the last couple of years, however, he visited her when he was drunk and in a very evil mood. He became violent both mentally and physically.

The rest of us wanted to get her out of this situation and take her somewhere safe. We also wanted to do that because she was really not able to take care of herself that well anymore. However, she adamantly refused. She even defended our brother. She did not want to move somewhere else or do anything at all. Her only wish was to die peacefully in her sleep. That was also the topic of every phone call with her.

This was an old situation that just did not seem to change. The only thing I could do was to imagine her healthy and happy. I also prayed for our brother and let other people pray for him as well. I remained thankful and was expecting the best outcome.

Still, nothing changed. It felt like it was getting worse. I noticed how this whole situation was taking control of me. I did not know how to solve this situation, the thought of it overwhelmed me. I did not want to have anything to do with it at all.

Then I talked to my son about it and he asked me what I really wanted. I had a straight answer to that: I wanted a perfect solution for everyone involved. I wanted it to be easy and simple. I did not want to deal with things that I could not solve.

A few days after I had talked to my son, our mother called me and my sister. She said that she desperately needed our help because she could not handle this situation any longer!

There it was! The only chance for me and my sister to get her out of there. The only time she would allow someone to help her. We were there in an instant!

Although everything seemed impossible at the time due to COVID-19, we immediately got her into a beautiful retirement home with lovely staff to take care of her around the clock. Every test we needed to make at the doctor’s office, we got done in one day. Although she could not bring her cat to the retirement home, an animal shelter now takes care of it.

It was like a movie, there was no resistance at all. The Universe opened every door for us. One week after her desperate call, our mother was staying in a lovely, new place with nice people around her.

The next thing to do was to empty out her old apartment and sell it so we could have the money to pay for the retirement home. It was like magic! Our brother suddenly decided that he owned everything in the apartment and so it was his right to take it all.

We let him! That way the apartment was emptied out and ready to sell. We did not have to move a finger, let alone a single piece of furniture. Our other brother took care of selling the apartment and it did not take long for someone to buy it. The price was also perfect, even a little bit more than what I had hoped for. All of this took place within one month.

We are the creators of our lives. We create with our thoughts, feelings, and imagination. We cannot possibly imagine the best solution to our desires. All we can do is trust the Universe completely and go with the flow. I was so amazed at how quickly and perfectly everything lined up.
