Okay, so I’ve heard of The Secret for some time now. I originally saw it on Oprah and then bought the DVD and then the book. I was totally in awe of it. I watched it constantly, and passively applied the principles to my life. There has been many ways the LOA has impacted my life, but I will focus this entry on my relationship.

Last Christmas I was at a party, and some of my good friends were there. At the party I declared to them that 2008 was going to be my year. I was going to meet the Man of my dreams that year. I did not know when – it could be the beginning, middle, or end – but I was going to meet him that year. So early in 2008 I made a list of all the qualities that I wanted in my partner.

Fast forward to April, and one night I was going out with some family and friends. I had to help a friend put up a mirror first though. Me being the least handy person and her even worse, it took us over an hour. But the whole time I just felt so anxious to go out to that pub and meet up with everyone else. I just knew I had to go, even though I was so tired. So I finally get there and not too long after this guy came up to me and wants to dance. Long story short, I got his number, and we spoke, and he is everything that I wished for in a man. Now the relationship has had some ups and down, but on my vision board I had written that I wanted the Best of Him. And right now I am getting it. We actually broke up for 3 weeks after I wrote that on my vision broad. I really did believe that it was needed (the break-up) for him to face some issues from his past, and the break-up triggered him to get the help he needed for this to happen. Now we are back together (which I knew would happen, as I kept envisioning it, and wrote it out during our breakup), and our relationship is now better than it was before.

I continue to use the LOA, and am utilizing it to make my business more successful, and each time it delivers. There are some days when I do not know how we made it this long in our business, and how I have managed, but I give it up to the Universe (God) and each time he delivers.

Thank you to everyone who shares their stores, as I usually come here to get uplifted and inspired on those days that it feels difficult to feel good. Your stories helped me through my break-up, and help me in the building of my business. It is amazing that we can actually create the lives we want for ourselves. There are no limits. Life is abundant and waiting for us to take hold and live abundantly. I one day want to create a workshop for young girls to utlize the LOA to create lives for themselves. Will keep you all posted!!!
