My encounter with “The Secret” was totally accidental, I found it in a library, the book caught my attention and I went to take it from the shelf. I had never heard of the book, did not know anything about it, I read the cover and I was quite surprised, The Secret of life revealed at last?. At that time I could not afford to buy the book so the next time I went to the public library I looked for it, I found a copy available and took it home. This happened in April 2009 and as I started reading this book I knew why it has come to my life.

The beginning of each year I make a ‘purpose’ for that year and in January 2009, my goal was literally to find a way to make my thoughts a reality. I took some time mulling over the idea that at times I had been able to realize a thought. Like when sometimes you think of someone you haven’t seen for a long time and you see them down the street. When I read The Secret all started to make sense but I admit, I took a long time to really understand how it worked. I couldn’t leave my fears and my negative thoughts aside.

When the book The Power was released, I got it again in the public library. When I read it everything was much easier for me because thanks to this book, I finally felt immense gratitude for life, for being here, to my family, my life in general. It’s become a habit to thank for everything I have.

I read the book The Power during the last days of December 2010 so when I made my ‘purpose’ in 2011, I did it with gratitude and love for life. I must admit I also decided to challenge The Power and my purpose. This year I want money, enough to not have to worry about that issue in a long time, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. I wrote a check from the bank of the universe in my name for many thousands of euros and thanked as never beofre in my life for that money.

About seven years ago I inherited my grandparents’ house and it represented an important expense to my precarious finances. I’ve never put it on sale though because of the sentimental value. Plus I didn’t want to sell it to stangers.

In mid-January, just two weeks after notify my purpose to the universe, my cousin and her husband said to me, “We are interested in buying the home of our grandparents to fix it and live in it.” I could not believe it, the amount they offered was four times the one I had put into my Universe bank check. The sale has been made and I want to say thanks because at last I have financial security, while still having the home of my grandparents a part of my life.

This was just the beginning of a long series of fulfilled desires of all kinds, travel, improved relationships with my family, etc. A long list which I want to give a huge thanks to all the team of The Secret for the great gift that you have given me.
