The Amazing Secret!

Tonto Basin, AZMarried, 3 children, 10 grandchildren. We love to fish and are enjoying a relaxing life near the lake!
I too have thought of writing many times.
In December of 2006 my husband and I decided to leave the city we had lived in for the
past 10 years, and move to small rural city in Arizona. Our children are all grown, and the last child having been married for two years and expecting his first child made the decision that he did not want to raise a child in Las Vegas. So he and my daughter in-law moved to S. Carolina where her family lives. With the “kids” gone I had no ties to Las Vegas, and the decision to move was made.
With my job experience in the medical field I began looking for jobs before I left Las Vegas. The closest town to the North is 35 miles and South is 70 miles. I called the director of the department I was looking to work in and she told me that she would love to have me, however had no openings at the time. It’s a very small hospital and most employees have been there 10-12 years and it was rare that anyone left. I was discouraged, however began to use the visualization techniques from The Secret. I visualized myself in the perfect job, in the perfect location, working with people I loved and people that loved me.
The week after I arrived in Arizona I took my resume to the director, and she said to me, “You will never believe, we just had a job open yesterday.” (Of course I did believe) I took my resume in on Tuesday, was called for an interview on Wednesday, and I was hired on Monday. I knew as soon as she told me that a job had opened on Monday that the job was mine.
Today my son called to say that the company he worked for has liquidated and he is out of a job. His wife has been out of work since August when my grandson became very ill and nearly died. I gave him a few techniques on visualization and tonight I ordered the book on CD for him and my daughter in-law. I only wish someone had given me the gift of The Secret when I was in my 20s. I know my life would have been much different, however I am so grateful to have it now! I truly believe this is the greatest gift you can bestow on someone. I loaned my book to a co-worker and I feel naked without it. I feel so good every time I open the book and read a random chapter or log onto the website and read the wonderful and amazing stories other have so generously shared.
With gratitude to everyone that has shared their story and blessing to all.
