A friend told me about this book called The Secret when I was in desperation. Okay, my life had fallen apart because of very poor choices that I’d made. Little did I know at the time that was because of my thoughts.

Now, it’s 5 1/2 months later and I am actually applying many lessons in The Secret and it is startling how many of them work! When I am grateful I receive more good experiences and comments. A few months ago I was job searching, and when I declared to the Universe that I wanted a choice between jobs I had two to choose from. When I applied the mantra from another story (money flows to me like water), I got two upsales in one day after only getting about one every other week. My work environment is more positive and not just because of my mindset, but people are speaking more positively and complaining less.

This morning I wrote something that helped me to clarify what The Secret is. And it might be useful to others.

I am happy and successful
These things are new
I am worthy and grateful
My dreams come true
I am a magnet that attracts
All positive thoughts
I am heathy and weatlthy
Qualities I’d sought

This book that does show
How Secrets unfold
Has opened my mind
when it was closed

That I am deserving
Of all that is great
That NOW is the time
I make an escape
From all that is past
To bring me to here
To the future I have
Made my way clear

And the present is thus
Thoughts Become Things!
