Ok, so this has been overdue for a while now. Before starting, I would like to thank every single person who has shared their stories. I have been reading and getting inspired every time I felt like I was losing hope. Of course, I am grateful to Rhonda and the Universe too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have many stories to tell, but this one is special. I promised myself that I would post it as soon as it came true. I have just received an email confirming that my wish has been granted, so, here is my story:

I work as a freelancer and often end up working with clients without any contract. A few months ago, I had taken up a second job and was working long hours, more than 16 hours a day, all seven days of the week. I worked hard for over two months. I finished my work on April 3rd and waited for payment for more than a month. On May 5th, the project manager sent me an email saying that the client was not paying. He could only pay me half the amount and would pay the rest only if I worked for another month.

By this time, I had overworked my body and was in horrible condition due to severe back and neck pain. I could not work those long hours anymore. I knew the manager would not believe me. I consulted fellow freelancers who advised me to forget about the payment because it was unlikely that the manager would pay me anyway.

But, I refused to believe that. Not only was it a big amount, but I had worked very hard for this project. It would be unfair to myself if I had let it go. So, I went to my online bank account and took a snapshot of the transfer details. Then I changed the total amount to the amount it would be after full payment and added the date of May 15th. I sent an email with the subject line saying, “Transfer to your account” and added the snapshot with a BIG THANK YOU! After that, I sent a very nice but strong email to the manager asking him to make the full payment. My friends told me that this was a long shot and that it was very unlikely that he would pay me.

In my mind, I kept thanking the manager for paying me my hard earned money and I thanked the Universe for helping me. Today is the 13th, and I checked my account. Payment received! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

To all those who want to believe but are not able to, I have been through the most negative situations. I used to be a very negative person who thought that nothing good could happen to me. But trust me, things do turn around. All you have to do is trust this beautiful Universe (or God) to be on your side and ask for whatever you desire. After that, trust that it will be done, and it will. Always keep smiling, and may all your wishes come true. Lots of love.
