North TexasMother, grandmother, great aunt raising a toddler, student, believer in saying my gratitudes and intentions daily, facilitator of weekly intenders circles.
Recently, I had surgery on my left heel removing a bone spur and was told not to put my foot down for 5 weeks.
The second day on crutches I started experiencing severe pain in my left wrist that prevented me from using that wrist very much. The day after that I had pain shooting up from my wrist to my elbow and I lost about 40% use of that arm. And the day after that I lost about another 20% use of my arm making it very difficult for me to get around on crutches, let alone chasing after a toddler.
I facilitate a tender circle and participate in 2 other intention and gratitude circles. I have experienced the power behind saying my gratitude and intentions in the circle in front of each other, and after I hear the stories of intentions manifesting for others and seeing them manifest in my life.
As soon as I started experiencing the pain in my left arm I immediately started being grateful for that arm and saying intentions for that arm to be healed healthy and whole. After a few weeks I never experienced any relief so I changed up my gratitude and changed up my intentions. After another week of not having any relief in that arm I just gave up saying gratitudes and intentions for that arm.
My daughter went to the library and picked up my books I had placed on hold and one of the books was The Magic. In the book Rhonda says to say thank you for my arms and hands. I thought what the hell, it couldn’t hurt to try it. At this point I couldn’t even hold a glass of water or a brush in that hand.
So, on a Sunday night I started saying, thank you, thank you, thank you for my arms and hands.
The next day I got up and was feeling a little better in that left arm. So, I continue saying thank you, thank you, thank you for my arms and legs all day Monday and Monday evening.
When I woke up Tuesday morning the first thing I did was grab my brush to put my hair in a ponytail and I could do it. Then I bent over my bed to put my boot on my foot that I had the surgery on and I could do that. Then I pushed myself up out of bed and I could do that. Then, once I stood up I started laughing so hard saying thank you, thank you, thank you God for healing my left arm. The pain was not all gone, but I went from a pain level of 10 being the highest on Sunday night and on Tuesday to about a five and here it is one week later and my pain is all the way down to a one and I have full use of my arm again. That is a miracle in my eyes!
Ever since I started getting relief from the pain I have continued saying thank you, thank you, thank you for each of my body parts and for everything in my body; my brain, my eyes, my sinuses, all my senses my heart, every organ in my body!!!!
Because it works so well for my left arm it has made me a true believer in The Magic of saying thank you. I also started saying it for my heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you for my heart. After my foot surgery, my podiatrist informed me that my EKG reading was showing an abnormality in my heart rhythm. My heart was only beating 52 beats a minute. After seeing how well saying The Magic words of thank you, thank you, thank you for my arms and hands worked, I started saying it for my heart. Within one day of saying thank you, thank you, thank you for my heart, my heart started beating at 66 beats a minute.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Rhonda for The Magic book. May God bless you 100 times for what that book has done for me.
Love,
Lisa
