I would like to begin my story by stating that I have always been an optimistic person, but circumstances made me doubt my own potential. As a result, a smart and dynamic girl became depressed. I lost all hope of restoring a balance to my career and my family stopped believing in me. The guy I fell hopelessly in love with started being distant. I tried making it work but the effort weighed a lot on my mind and I was constantly in an undercurrent of stress.

My student mentioned The Secret to me but I never took him seriously until he told me how it changed his life forever. I was a little short on cash but I went ahead and purchased The Secret. After going through it, I couldn’t really believe what I was reading. But I was intrigued so I went ahead and bought The Power and The Magic. This was in the year 2012. I was busy with classes so I couldn’t complete either books. But on 23rd December 2012, I vowed to finish all the practices mentioned in The Magic book. And I did. I was in tears after I finished the practices. I was so grateful for everything in my life. Gradually everything around me improved. My family life prospered. My finances improved. I was loved by all my students.

I had a perfect life except for the absence of the man I loved. We were together for five years but even after that, he was never there for me when I needed him and I would constantly complain about it.
This went on till August 2015, when he couldn’t take it anymore and left me. I realized that he truly cared for me but his circumstances couldn’t let him be there for me. I was distraught that the man I loved was no more in my life. That’s when The Power stood up for me again. I was going through this email I had written to The Secret Forum and I perused my copy of The Power again. While going through it, I realized that the people who love you can never truly leave you. I thought of nothing but love. Of the great things about him. His smile, the way his eyes sparkle, the way I feel when I am with him. I thought of how I love him and it paved the way for me. Every day felt like the best day of my life and I looked forward to the day when we could be together. I visualized him proposing to me on a cliff at sunrise. And every time I thought about it, I could only feel gratitude for it happening.

And It happened today, this morning!!

I went jogging by a nearby hill and there he was. He went down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I always visualized writing my Secret Story and I am so grateful that The Universe came through for me. I could harness this only because of The Secret.
