Ten Days Of Bliss!
Submitted by: Billy
CanadaI hold two of the greatest titles in the world, that of a wife and and that of a mother.
I am on day 10 of reading and practicing The Magic and I am already seeing improvements in the way I feel but also in receiving, due to the gratitude I extend. My story is not about lottery winnings or being debt free or none of that sort.
On day 5 of The Magic practice I had a court date for the parking ticket I received in 2014. I had received it after I had moved my vehicle so I decided to fight it. While I was in the courtroom I felt nervous at times thinking well, what if my proof is not sufficient for the judge, but then I would inhale and say in my mind, thank you for winning this case. Sure enough as I got called to the defense stand and the parking guy who issued the ticket finished testifying, the prosecutor stands up and says to the judge we’re dropping the charge. I was in disbelief! I didn’t even get to say a word and there I was just looking at the judge who said to me the case is dismissed as they dropped the charge. I left the courtroom saying thank you for saving me $35.00, the cost of ticket. While in the courtroom I knew my parking had expired as I paid for 2 hours thinking that would be enough time but I ended up staying more than 3 hours. As I was going towards my vehicle I thought, oh no, I won this one, I hope I didn’t get a ticket now for overtime parking. In my mind I kept being grateful for not getting a ticket and sure enough, I did not. I was grateful for saving another $35.00. Another pleasant surprise was the pay. Both me and my husband got paid more than we thought we would! I am on a salary so it was real a surprise.
Day 9 of The Magic practice me and my husband were in the store and there were two ladies ahead of us. Now the store has this thing where for every $10.00 you spend you get a stamp you can use for a Jamie Olivier knife set. I had about 30 stamps collected on my own and needed 40 more to be able to claim the two knives I wanted. The first lady in line did not collect them but said to the cashier to give them to one of us, so the cashier turns to another lady in line and asks her if she collected them. She said no, so we got them. I was super happy and grateful. I kept saying to the lady, thank you, thank you so much. Now the next lady who was in front of also gave me her stamps and as I was thanking her as well here comes a gentleman from the next cash register and he gives me his stamps as well. I am so grateful to these three people as my collection is now complete and I even have 10 stamps left over to use towards another knife.
As I was laughing and thanking them, I said today is a great day and the lady at the cash register said you should play lotto. I played a scratchy card and won $15! I was so grateful for receiving these stamps as I didn’t see them only as stamps, but money. These people spent money and as a result these stamps were given to me. If I convert them to money I have received over $400.00.
I am excited to find out what else is out there for me and how I can contribute to the world. What we receive does not necessarily have to be money it can come in many shapes, such as my stamps and parking tickets.
