Technology and The Secret

Atlanta, GeorgiaI work as a Graphic Artist for a printing company. Fortunately, it’s rare that I ever have to deal with the VERY large printers, but if they have issues, I definitely get to hear about it.
Well, for the last couple of months I’ve heard about nothing but printing issues: it’s broken, it doesn’t recognize the information, unknown error messages, etc. Today, I had finally had enough of the complaining and lack of progress, so I thought I would take the matter into my own hands… or mind, as the case may be.
I had already spent the previous ten minutes picturing things for my own life, so I was feeling pretty awesome. I started to imagine all the printers working together perfectly and for the betterment of the company. After a couple of minutes, I hear my co-worker scream, “It came back on!” She talked about all the things she had tried to make it work, but to no avail; how weird it was because the printer had never done that; and on and on. She had to call the repairman and tell him not to come because, “…you know how it went off last time? Well, it magically came back on.”
All they can figure is that there must be a short in the cord… but I know better.
