I was introduced to The Secret around the age of 11, but never quite understood it. Fast forward a decade later. I read and reread The Secret and The Power and each time I did I captured more of the essence of the LOA. I could not be more blessed by this knowledge, so thank you to Rhonda and The Secret team.

My journey with LOA truly kicked off last year. I was on my 4th and last year at university, in a degree I had no passion or heart to stay on to complete because I was heading towards a downward spiral very quickly in terms of my mental health. I knew I had to leave the course and obstacles presented themselves everywhere when I decided to stay on. I reached the point where I had a mental breakdown, and simply took a leap of faith, and quit. I could feel the weight being ripped right off my shoulders, and felt a sense of peace and calm.

I spent over a year working every day, with no real sense of direction and lost all my inspiration. In the meantime, I was keeping myself busy, and doing lots of personal development. I knew I was destined for great things, but had no idea how or what. After putting it out there that I needed some inspiration from the Universe, a friend whom I had not spoken to in over a year and a half, invited me to a property investment course. I thought, ha! It must be the Universe answering my calls. The course was worth a lot of money, but I decided I would regret it if I did not pursue it. Also, I had nothing to lose.

Ever since I signed up for the course, I have come across many other brilliant ideas to create wealth for myself. I had gone back to the drawing board and decided to monetise my passion for art. I have met all the right people to help me set up my blog and website, and each have pushed me to do things that the ‘old’ me would never have dared to do before.

I have never looked back and I know now, that if it had not been for all those leaps of faith, I would still be stuck where I was. My message to anyone thinking of making a change in their life is that it starts with you. You are the number one priority in your life, and so if something calls out to your heart deeply, as scary as it may be, you have to honour it and follow your heart. Another way to think of it is; If I can not help myself, how else am I supposed to help someone else?

So, take that leap of faith, because you deserve all the good the Universe has to offer. I believe in you, and know great things are headed your way.
