Careful what you haven’t even asked for yet, you may get it. My cat died last year at 20 years old. Since I’m old I gave away all my cat supplies worried that I could not outlive another cat and my daughter would have to take it. Last week, I decided, that once I paid off my house in November of next year, that I would get another. I bought a little bowl and cat nail clippers for $1 each. Figured that if I bought something every month, I would not have too big an expense next year.
Yesterday, my daughter called and I invited her for a picnic. After a huge storm hit and was supposed to last all day, she called me back to cancel. I told her don’t worry I have this. Half an hour later the storm stopped. On the way back she decided to stop at the Humane Society to just look at pets. One of the cats and I liked each other. She told me that she would pay for the cat and all the expenses for the next year. Turned out that this week was “free cats, 4 years and older, for people over 55”. Kitty is 4. So now I have a free cat, one year ahead of time, with all expenses paid by my daughter until November of next year.
Another big surprise. Right down the nose of the cat, the two sides are very different, the ears are very unique, and she is quite beautiful. We looked the cat up when we got to my home. They sell for $1,000 because they are very rare. She was found as a stray. No, I am not selling her and she is being spayed, not risking someone stealing her for breeding.
About the rain, I have been able to ask for rain and when to stop, for years using the LOA. I read The Secret years ago.
