This was the first time I genuinely tried and tested The Secret and the power of positive thinking into my life and it worked.

January 22, 2013, a new handset launched in the market, Samsung Galaxy Grand worth Rs. 21,500. I then and there decided to buy this handset. I was clear in mind that I am gonna buy the handset, when and how, I didn’t know. I didn’t think of any other set. I wanted the Grand phone.

It cost 21,500 then, which seemed way more expensive for a prodigal like me with stipend of just Rs. 4750 per month. Still, I had faith in me that the phone would get attracted to me someday. Not even for a second did I doubt the thought of buying Galaxy Grand. I even put up the picture of Galaxy Grand in my almirah. I even set the picture of Galaxy Grand as my mobile and laptop wallpaper.

Nothing major happened for about 4 months. And suddenly, almost exactly after 4 months, on 30th May, 2013, my phone stopped working. At that time, EMI scheme was on a high. I even thought of buying the phone on EMI scheme before but gave up since I could not live up to conditions on EMI scheme. It required a credit card purchase and that too of specific banks. I enquired about it with 2-3 close people of mine but nothing happened.

Suddenly I got to know that one of my family friends has a credit card of the same bank which the scheme demanded. The day before, on 29th May, I inquired him of buying the phone by his card and he agreed. And suddenly on 30th May, my phone stopped working and when I went to the dealer to get to know more about the scheme, I learnt that the last date to avail the EMI scheme was 31st May.

Something strange went inside me and I recalled all The Secret Stories inside my head, all the power of positive thinking and the subject of The Secret. I was so glad that it worked for me at last. I bought the phone on 31st May. Had the phone never created trouble, I would have definitely delayed the purchase and the scheme would have come to an end and my dream of buying the new phone too.

The incident has made me much more confident than before and I have started believing in my instincts even more. Undoubtedly, I am the most satisfied person in the world at the moment. I am so happy. Thank you so much everyone, the Universe, the book The Secret, Bhai, Mom-Dad, God everyone.
