OK, so here goes:

My husband and I have been together for the better part of 17 years and married for 5 years with 2 beautiful daughters. Our financial status has always been up and down.

Well the worst of it was roughly 2 1/2 months ago. It started in October when I had been offered a great position with a very reputable company in the area. Well there was an incident that occurred, no fault on my part, that resulted in the position being revoked! Needless to say I was shattered!

I luckily remained on call at the previous company I had worked for. I was able to pick up a few hours here and there but nothing that would help secure a future for my family. My boss came to me in early November saying another location was opening up and I would have a permanent position. I was elated! Well that bubble was soon to burst when she came to me to tell me that the new location was having contracting issues and would not open till mid next year.

OMG, I did not know what to do at this point. My husband was working all the hours he could, my mother took over payments for my daughters private school, but yet we were still drowning in debt! At this point my husband and I were both so disconnected from ourselves, one another and the situation.

Slowly we started to dig ourselves out of our emotional black hole. Mid December rolls around and a very well known Dental office called me in for an interview. I was so excited!!!

I ended up getting the position, and they are paying me more money than I have ever made in my life!!

As I stated before, my husband and I have been together for quite awhile, and during our time together we have managed with only one vehicle for the whole family. It was hard but we made it work. With this new position and the hours, I desperately needed my own car. We tried and tried to get financing. We finally found a dealer that would finance us. However, in order to get the car we needed to put $700 down. Needless to say we did not have $700. Once again I felt lost and did not know what to do.

My mom calls me out of the blue and tells me that she will loan me the money for the car! I was so happy I wanted to cry.

So after a long hard road, we now have 2 nice vehicles, I have 3 sources of income, and very soon will be moving into a beautiful home! Just be patient, everything that is good and worth while takes time!!!!
