Hi! I am one of the owners of a new Bookstore and Cafe, a place that is the culmination of our dreams. After the store opening we had the misfortune that one of our investors pulled lots of money out of our business, which left us in an uncomfortable position of being overextended. For quite some time this dragged us down and made us depressed, but we kept up a good face, “faced reality” and continued on, determined to succeed.

After a slow post Christmas 2 months, we were again “down”. That is when 2 of our business customers, who have become our good friends, told us about The Secret and how we needed it. They said they would bring us the copy they had bought for us to watch the next week. The NEXT DAY another friend brought in her copy of it, gave it to us and told us we HAD to watch it. Since we respected their judgement and were curious by now, we did.

It has changed our life. Since watching it, our business has doubled, new customers are coming in, unexpected cheques have turned up in the mail, big orders have come in from new customers and new options are continually appearing.

We were determined to sell the book after watching the movie, only to find out it was out of stock in Australia and all stock coming was already allocated. We intended that a way would be made… and it was, a customer walked in and told us where to get it from – she hadn’t known we had seen it or were looking for it. Since then we have sold many copies to customers, and look forward to hearing their stories of success when they come back to us. It is fantastic to be able to sell people something you KNOW is going to make their lives better.

Since watching The Secret, reading the book, and watching and reading other titles by the authors of The Secret among others, our life has gotten better, and will continue to do so. The best bit is knowing that our intending to help not only our lives, but as many others as we can, will make such a difference.

So while intending to improve your lives, and showing gratitude, make sure you do all you can to help others intend better for their lives, it is well worth it, after all LOVE is the most powerful emotion.
