The Secret literally changed my life, and reading all these stories on here just makes me 100x more grateful. So thank you, thank you, thank you.

I was introduced to The Secret through my best friend, who has downloaded part of the app on her phone. I read the first couple of pages, then contacted her immediately. She said it was the most amazing thing she had ever read and told me to buy the book straight away, so I did.

I was instantly captivated by how true The Secret came to be, and how did I ever lived without it!! I then bought The Power, The Magic and then other variations by authors in the film.

During the time I was reading all of these books I was in my final year of university, and I can safely say that without applying The Secret, I couldn’t have done it. So thank you Rhonda, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Since graduating, my life got pretty tough. I lost all my grandparents in the space of a weekend, I had no job, no money and was completely lost. I went through stages of using The Secret and then neglecting it for a while, but I turned to it for help during this time.

I asked the universe for my dream job. Because I am only 21, I change my mind all the time, but I asked for something within fashion. Something amazing, something that would get me far in life, and something that would make me truly happy.

I started job hunting, for 2 months I heard nothing. I sent off around 50 different applications online with my CV and still heard nothing back. However, I kept positive, and everyday I thanked the universe for amazing opportunities, events and circumstances that were coming away.

Funnily enough, after the tragic weekend of my grandparents, I started receiving phone call after phone call, e-mail after e-mail from people asking me to come in for interviews. I couldn’t believe it.

In the space of 3 days, I already had 3 interviews lined up and e-mails to apply to with dates of when I would be available.

All the interviews went really well and I was offered all the jobs, but none of them were quite what I wanted. A GP surgery receptionist, and a retail assistant at Topshop wasn’t my dream job. With faith, I turned them all down, knowing I was going to get something better.

I then heard nothing for a week, yet I made a point of thanking the universe everyday. I then received 2 e-mails on a Tuesday morning, one from Vivienne Westwood and the other from Michael Kors, both asking me to come in straight away for an interview for an intern positions.

Wow!!

To end on a very high note, both interviews went great, I was offered both jobs and I an intern at Michael Kors starting in October! Most of their interns then become employees.

You must believe in your heart that you will get what you want, and go with your gut instinct. The universe always responds.

The funny thing about this story is that I never applied for a position at Michael Kors, I just got an e-mail and that was that.
