Smiles

Pune, IndiaHi, I am Radhika, 28 years of age, mother of 2 sons, working for a call centre. Am an extrovert, extremely friendly, and can make friends very easily. I love to find happiness in the minutest things around me, and have begun to believe, that it is just one life I have, and I have to live it to the fullest... Spread smiles around, because I love smiling faces, happy people....
‘The Secret’ was one of the books I bought from a bookstore, on recommendation from a colleague. All I felt was: ‘ Oh!! Just another philosophical dragging book….’
One afternoon, I lazily opened the book at random, and the chapter was Gratitude. I read, and tears welled up into my mind. The first thing I realised, Where am I, and what am I doing?’ So I made it a point to get on from the very first page, and I felt a mysterious energy stir in my mind and body, it gave me a feeling that I have so much to do and I have been wasting my time.
The first thing that happened to me, is that my son was not faring very well in is assessments in school. I thought and visualised and saw him get an ‘A’ in his forthcoming tests. And when I went to meet his teachers in school, they were all in praise for my boy, and that he has done exceptionally well in his test. I knew it had begun to work.
The next thing that happened to me is at my workplace. Working for a call centre, means targets to achieve every day. I somehow was not able to keep up with any set targets. After “The Secret’, I left home with a vision, that I would make the highest sales today, and to my disbelief, my name flashed on all the boards, and official emails for the highest sales on calls for the day. From that day on I make sure I have my target in my head, which automatically is achieved by the end of the day.
The Gratitude chapter holds a very special place in my heart, which encouraged me to share what I received. I have gifted about 30 copies of The Secret to family and friends, knowing it will work for each and every one of them… And I know I will keep doing so………. To see the smiles on all those faces I love to see smiles on……………
