Before Rhonda’s new book was released, I was beginning to understand “the power of awareness”. And I wasn’t really any longer interested in just “manifesting desires” although creating amazing things in life is always a joy. I was just now more curious about the nature of who we really are.

I was beginning to become truly aware of being awareness, that life is actually a dream world. And I loved reading about various ancient teachings and also modern teachings on this subject. I was starting to really understand that in the field of awareness, all things exist, all possibilities exist.

So I thought about something I would really love, a signed book by Rhonda Byrne. Meaning, I wasn’t as much attached to the desire, as I was wanting to explore the infinite nature of awareness by achieving an “unlikely” goal. Everything in my reality told me it was impossible to find a book like this. I looked everywhere on the internet! I was just so certain that it was impossible to find one, and I didn’t think anyone would want to sell their signed copy, if it even existed. Maybe it was possible that Rhonda never even signs books? I tried emailing The Secret team but it wasn’t possible to receive one in this way, which is understandable. When I was “searching” for the book and I couldn’t find it, I didn’t feel desperate at all. I was just grateful for life in general, even when I was kindly told they weren’t able to do this. It was totally understandable, as there must be so many similar requests they get like this.

Then I realized I was trying to “get” something. So before trying to “get” the book, I realized that I was currently “aware” of not having it. Then I practiced being “aware of being aware”.

And truth be told, this was the most joyful moment! I can ‘hand to heart’ say that I didn’t feel like I needed to “have” anything at all because this joy of ‘being aware of being awareness’ was just indescribable! Ineffable is a word I would use. Just unrecognizably full of infinite love!

Now that I was aware of being awareness, I was no longer aware of the seeming limitations in my world. So then I exercised being “aware” of having a signed copy. I became so “aware” of this that I was no longer “aware” of not having the book. Hence I wasn’t even wondering or concerned about how or when it was going to happen. I was already aware in the present moment.

Then the next day, I went on eBay to order something else I needed. Something within me compelled me to try searching “Rhonda Byrne signed”. I had tried this many times already but I thought to try it just once more.

Lo and behold, someone was selling a signed copy they got right after the book had been released! I was shocked! I immediately ordered it. Then when I read the book, I could not believe how much this book resonated with me. Especially with my story of how I received it. I know the book is about becoming aware of being aware, not just about how to “get things.” It is about realizing your true, infinite, unconditional nature. My experience was a testament to how beautiful this discovery is was when I saw its effects in my life.

First and foremost I’d like to thank myself because I’m amazing. And I am eternally grateful to Rhonda, the entire team of The Secret, David Bingham, all the teachers featured in the book, and so importantly, “you” who is reading this. Every one of us is pure, loving awareness.
