This happened when I was in college and I was nearing graduation. Everyone around me was talking about the internship programs they undertook and the experiences they had with the companies. Most were excited because they believed they had a job secure after college; however I was nowhere near that excitement internally. This motivated me to go to an upcoming job fair we had at school, and I put it in my mind that at the fair the company who chose me for their internship program would be the one which I would work for after I graduated. The irony was that when I was 12 years old someone told me that majoring in business administration I would receive a yearly salary of 35,000 or more; in 9 months with the company I got a promotion which hiked my salary to 36,800! I worked for the company for two years, yet due to the long drive I was in search for a job closer to home. Well, I determined I wanted a job which would be in the city of Chicago, where I would spend less money on gas. I had a minor dispute with the store manager at my old job which led to my voluntary dismissal. I told myself that something better was coming, which took three and a half weeks! My current job with traffic is ten minutes from home, my salary has increased, and I spend way less on gas! I can definitely say I am more happy and grateful; law attraction is powerful!!!
