I felt inspired to write this story because of another story I’d read on this site, not because of anything I’d manifested but because I was used as a vessel of manifestation for someone else.

My bank is located about 2 miles from my home and because I hadn’t been able to get my daily cardio exercise in for the day, I decided to walk over to take care of my transaction. Halfway through my walk, with my dog in tow, I spotted a woman with 2 small children slowly making her way across the street against heavy traffic. If you know anything about busy L.A. streets then you would understand why the situation immediately grabbed my attention. While observing the scene, I noticed that the children were wearing heavy clothing in warmer than average weather and the woman’s shoes were very tattered. And although it had rained previously, I automatically assumed that the trio may not have been in the position to change their clothing. To give you some context, because of the insane rise of inflation in California, especially in Los Angeles, it has resulted in an alarming rise of homelessness. Not just amongst the adult population but amongst families as well.

I didn’t want to judge the situation reflexively, so I quietly observed them as they made their way down the street. Suddenly I had an overwhelming urge to go and speak to them, but I became sheepish and just stood in silence watching them for a time. I was then pushed by some invisible force to pursue them and speak to them. I rushed through a busy construction zone against oncoming traffic to catch up to them, never once feeling as if my safety was in jeopardy. I finally caught up and said excuse me to get their attention.

The woman told me her story, recounting her morning which consisted of deep prayer and seeking shelter in a Starbucks until the rain subsided. She also shared with me her struggles with sobriety and how she had been able to remain substance free for a year. She was able to obtain visitation with her two little boys for the weekend and was just trying to have some quality time with them.

After speaking with her at length, I immediately knew what I was supposed to do and why I had felt such a strong urge to connect with her. I reached into my wallet and gave her the money I was going to deposit into my account. She began crying, almost hysterically, and explained that while she was in Starbucks, she was asking God for guidance and a sign that she was on the right track. Right then I knew that the Universe had us cross paths at that very moment! Mind you, I am not a wealthy woman but I just remembered what kind of financial situation I was in exactly one year prior to this. Trust me, it wasn’t good. But now I was just so grateful to be able to give to someone else.

LOA isn’t just a tool for our own pursuits but also uses each and every one of us to aid in the intentions and desires of others as well. This is the first time I am sharing this story but I hope it reminds someone of the many wonderful ways the Universe works through all of us!
