I was introduced to The Secret several years ago but only recently started putting it into practice. My life has changed in many, many ways! One of my first major changes was concerning my weight. However, the weight loss happened through the healing of my inflamed gall bladder.

I have always had weight issues throughout my life but after college I ballooned up to over 300 pounds. Eventually, I lost the weight the old fashioned way, by diet and exercise, and ended up being a size 2, and 130 pounds.

Then life happened, and the weight started creeping back up. I was trading 50 pounds back and forth until finally, I was well over 200 pounds again. To say I was despondent and frustrated does not even begin to describe how I felt.

In the last several years, I have tried numerous things to get my weight down but nothing worked. If anything, I was gaining even more weight!

I decided to reapply the principles of the law attraction and The Secret. I started visualizing every fat cell in my body shrinking. I started with my feet and went all the way up to my face until I was back in my size 2 body. I had pictures of me at size 2 that I would use for reference, and I imagined actually feeling the fat cells shrink and being that size 2 again. I did this for about two weeks, and then I forgot about it. Life got in the way, as usual.

How I started to lose weight took an interesting path. I was working over 12 hours a day, and the right side of my back started to hurt badly. It hurt to the point where I couldn’t sit still or stand up for very long. Nothing I tried worked, massage, going to the chiropractor, and acupuncture brought only temporary relief. I was in almost constant pain, with my back muscles on my right side constantly seizing up.

I again decided to apply The Secret. I declared that I was healed. I imagined feeling how I would feel when I was healed, and the pain actually ceased when I was intending it. So I would visualize that I was healed and would feel my back muscles as if they were normal, every day for about three days. I then made a trip down to Austin for a few days, and when I got back, I felt a lot better! Far from perfect, but able to sleep the night I returned, which in itself was a blessing.

Well, the next day I ate my usual dairy filled treat. I had been doing a carnivore diet that included eating full fat dairy. That night I was in agony. After internet searching my symptoms, I thought, could this be my gall bladder? Is dairy affecting this? So I stopped all dairy immediately, and within three days I was perfectly fine! I have never been so grateful, after having been in constant pain for almost three months. I could sleep through the night again.

Well, a week after I quit dairy, I noticed my pants were loose. I was losing my hair as well. I have been eating healthy for years, so no junk food in my diet, but this was the first sign in years I was losing any weight. A month later, my hair stopped falling out, and I suddenly realized that I had dropped about 35 pounds without even trying! The fat seems to literally be melting away, almost like when I visualized it!

I am amazed and grateful to the Universe for both miracles. I never would have known about my intolerance to dairy and how it was affecting my weight. Now I know and I do not have to guess about what’s really been causing the weight gain. The Universe really does know the best path.
