Hello, my names Chris, and I began using The Secret about 12 years ago, at the age of 5, but it was only a few months ago that I began to see why things were the way they were for me.

It all began when the school had a raffle for a Playstation and while the school had 200 students and each student bought between 5 or 6 tickets each, I was confident in my 2 humble tickets. I recall looking out my window everyday saying, “That playstation is mine.” I can’t explain the determination I had and the power behind those thoughts that convinced me that the playstation was called into existence for me.
Even though my mother tried to prepare me for a seemingly logical loss, I remained convinced in myself and when I won the prize, I was happy, but had come to expect it.

I find it interesting that my girlfriend introduced me to The Secret a couple of years later, and that I see why these events happened to me.

The book immediately stood out to me on the bookshelf in a shop and I knew I had to buy it. It remains one of the most crucial buys I have ever made.

My band had recently started from scratch and in the space of a year, we are now coming together brilliantly with a dream set in our hearts. Not only that but our wish to play on a larger scale gig came true when we met a person from another band who knew some big contenders in the national scene and now we have a gig organised with the original Irish punk band, Paranoid Visions

In another story, my girlfriend went on holidays for a month and I felt rather anxious to see her after a month so I told myself that her brother would come collect me and drive to me the airport to pick her up. I had a shower, prepared and all the while held the dream firmly in my mind. When he didn’t show up, I was gutted and lost my faith in The Secret, but the next day when I went to visit my girlfriend, it turns out she was due in that evening and I was invited to be there when she came back!

I knew then that The Secret had come through for me and it now governs my every thought and provides me with a clear mind, solace and my inner guide in my discovery of myself and everything.

I want to thank everyone around me for their support, especially my dad who introduced me to philosophies that I intend to use in my own theories, my girlfriend who introduced me to The Secret, I love you so much, and to my band mates for letting me live the dream, and finally to Rhonda Byrne and the other members of The Secret family who provided me with the inspiration to rise out the limits that tie us down that we unknowingly accept.
