The Secret And Praying Never Fails!
Submitted by: Lisa A.
TexasI'm a freelance writer and mom to one son.
I was introduced to The Secret back in 2013 after a painful breakup. I was flipping through Netflix one night and found The Secret. Things were going great after I discovered and applied it. I couldn’t get enough so I started reading and applying The Magic exercises. I met my current boyfriend, went on several vacations with him and my son and things were going well at work and in my life.
Let’s fast forward to October 2016. I was laid off from my job of six years. I was still thankful I received a severance package and unemployment benefits for my years of service. Prior to that month, I had a feeling my boss was going to get rid of me. I just didn’t know when it was going to happen. We didn’t get along and things were getting worse at the company. The end of December 2016 was great because I attracted close to $10,000. I was in a car accident a few months before. The money from the lawsuit came through. I had a lot of bills to pay so a lot of the money was gone. I tried to save as much as I could but I still had a lot of bills. Plus, I couldn’t find a job for months. I was freelance writing so the money I made helped a lot. Because of my assignments, I had been able to attend concerts and fun events! I began a new full-time job in May. The job wasn’t right for me so I quit. By this time, I was already starting to run out of money.
The only thing I could really do was pray to God, Jesus and St. Jude. St. Jude is the saint of desperate and hopeless causes. St. Jude is known to come through when everything else seems to fail. I started falling behind on bills so I reached out to him. I prayed to find another job and get caught up on my bills. After praying to him, my boyfriend offered to help me pay my rent. My neighborhood Catholic Church paid my $204 electric bill when I asked them for help. I called everyone I owed money to see if I could pay when I started working and they all said yes.
I still have some bills that need to be paid this week but I have faith that God, Jesus, St. Jude and the Universe will come through for me. I don’t know how but I just know they will. You have to let go of the problems, ask them to help you and have faith. I’ve also been praying for our miracle baby and other good things to happen to me and my family. Don’t give up when times get hard, good times and good things are on the way!
Thank you God, Jesus, St. Jude, The Secret and the Universe for everything! Thank you for your inspiring stories on this website! I enjoy reading them when I want to feel good and inspired. I hope I can write another story about my miracle baby soon!
