Retrieving 3 Days Worth Of Effort.
I was in my third year of Graduate school. We had to prepare a map using the data we collected on the site. It took me 3 days to hand draw my entire map. The map was stunning. I was really happy how it turned out. My map was to be approved by my professor and to be shared with my batchmates so they could replicate it. I took the map to my college and got it approved.
While coming back home I left the map in its container inside the train compartment. I had almost reached my house when I realized I didn’t have my container. I rushed to the train station and bolted towards the ticket counter. I planned to ride till the last station which was 2 stations away and hopefully retrieve my map there. The chances of this happening were bleak. In the back of my mind, I was applying The Secret and the LOA by saying to myself that I would recieve my map back. I was feeling how good I would feel when I received it.
Then I got a call from a person who had been my friend from back in junior college. I had not spoken to him for over 3 years. He asked me where I was. I explained to him that I was in a hurry, I had done a blunder and I would call him back ASAP. He asked what blunder did I do. I explained how I left my container in the train. He replied calmly, saying that the container was with him. He had boarded the same train and the same compartment. He checked the container and the name on it was Honey. He knew only one person named Honey in the entire city, so he decided to give me a call. I got my container and the map was intact. I was so grateful for this incident. It reinforced my belief in the LOA.
