This is my 3rd story here. Though my previous stories were not published, I will continue to write as I believe my story will inspire others like how The Secret stories inspire me.

I heard about The Secret many years ago but did not give it a chance as I did not have a habit of reading back then. I started reading Andrew Matthews’ book when I found myself in great stress 4 months ago. I then developed a reading habit and started screening my husband’s book collection before I found The Secret. Long story short, I read it, together with the other books of The Secret Books and now I am on my Day 25 of The Magic Practices from The Magic. I have manifested a lot of things and the biggest thing I manifested was my resignation.

I have been working for 1 1 years in the same company and had developed respect and trust from colleagues and superiors. I was commented on as diligent and hardworking. When I decided to move on a few months ago, I thought it was not possible for my company to accept my resignation with only 3 months notice without a great reason and a lot of justifications. That was because I understood that it would take time to train up a new guy. I also thought my family and friends would question my decision to pursue my passion without any foundation built.

I started using The Secret to visualize myself tendering my resignation on a specific day. My superior would be sitting at his desk without anyone in his room. I visualized what we talked about and that I would be going out of his room with a big smile. I continue to visualize that my family members, my friends and my colleagues all accepted my resignation without much questions and a lot of blessings. I wrote what I visualized in my gratitude journal as if I have received them. Then I visualize that my replacement colleague reported to duty the next month, with all her attributes written down in my gratitude journal.

By the time I tendered my resignation, things has changed so dramatically that I was confident that my resignation would be as smooth as silk. Guys, you have to believe it, all of the above manifested exactly how I wanted it to be.

Even when things do not seem right and hiccups happen in between, just put in a lot of faith and you’ll be where you want to be.

I wrote this immediately after I heard the news that the new colleague replacing me was interviewed and hired yesterday, reporting to duty next month. Someone told me that the new colleague was not working for the past year so her ability to pick up is in doubt. While that sounds like bad news to my colleague, deep in my heart, I know it’s the Universe’s perfect arrangement. Had she been working all this while, she would not be able to report to duty immediately and I would not be able to only give my 3 months notice instead of 6 months as requested by my company!

I am due to meet my new colleague next week, I’m sure she is the one perfectly described in my journal. I am happy and looking forward to handover to her and hop into the journey of my dreams.
