I recently used the law of attraction and The Magic to get a job. It was exactly what I needed, the only challenge was child care as it is really expensive in the UK. I signed up with a nursery for my baby and paid over £1300 for just one month. I signed all the necessary documents, among which stated that they have a no refund policy, so in case you miss some days, the money is not refunded regardless of the reason.

My baby was there for 3 days and got ill. I was forced to leave work to care for him. I was so worried as I had just started the job, was still on probation and I already was taking days off. By Friday he was so ill that he couldn’t eat, drink or walk, and I was so worried. I had tests done only to find out that he had tested positive for Covid. We then had to self isolate for 10 days. As the 10 days were coming to an end, I got the virus from him and I tested positive, just as his repeat test results came back negative. So I also had to self isolate with him again for another 10 days. By the end of the 20 days, the month was over as it was in December. The rest of the days were holidays and the nursery is not open during the holidays.

Just like that, I had lost £1300 in 3 days and I was at home and not working, so I was not earning anything either. I was so frustrated at first as it did not seem fair at all, given that my baby had gotten Covid at the nursery. I called the nursery and they told me they have a no refund policy which I had signed. I felt so helpless.

Then I remembered The Secret. I started writing things I was grateful for about the nursery. I prayed before sleeping that at least they give me back 50% or a free month. I would be happy with either option. I called the next day to cancel my subscription with them as they were too expensive and I was not happy with the service. I got a call back from the nursery saying they will give me a refund! I was so happy, I knew my prayers were answered! I asked the lady how much it would be and she said they would only deduct the 3 days that my baby was there. I was so happy as that was more than the 50% I had hoped for.

I sat patiently waiting for the refund and it wasn’t coming through. When I asked why they said the person in charge had gone on leave as it was around Christmas and New Years so I had to wait till January. Everyone told me I was lied to and they were buying time to come up with a reason to deny my request. I was scared at first but eventually decided to keep the faith and kick out the negativity. I emailed the nursery in January and guess what?

They had decided to give me a full refund due to the delay and they apologized. I got the money in 2 days. I was so happy as I beat all the odds even when I felt hopeless at first. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am typing this at my job. I was paid for 2 weeks even though I was there for just a week. It is more than what I anticipated! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
