Last year I was in a job I hated. I did it because it allowed me to work school hours and weekends, but I would cry every day, either to or from work. It made me so miserable and this ended up making me lash out at my family. I hated this.

After listening to The Secret, I learned that I had to start loving what I did to get a job that I loved. That made me pick myself up, dust myself off, and start finding the things I enjoyed about the job. In the end I realised it wasn’t the job I hated, it was my boss and the way she treated me. My dream was to work from home. I wanted to work and be there for my family and not to work for a manipulative boss.

In March the lockdown happened, and this gave me time to reflect. It gave me time to start practicing The Secret teachings, and I became a much happier person. I was happier with myself and so everyone around me became happier.

A few days before the lockdown was lifted, I was approached on social media with an opportunity to build my own business from home. The business was a dream, as it is something that I always loved to do. After my husband and I looked into it further, it sounded more and more like everything I have always wanted! I knew this was the Universe showing me this is what I had asked for. I jumped at the chance to do it and I have not looked back since.

Believing in the law of attraction and just being happy has given me my dream of doing what I want to do. I will be forever grateful for this.
