I had been out of work due to some health issues and was just barely getting by on unemployment insurance payments as I was recovering. I used my time throughout my recovery to study about the Law Of Attraction. I also absorbed a lot of other positive and uplifting content through books and watching YouTube videos. In hindsight, I see that I was thinking positively which helped me to recover my health.

I’ve known about The Secret since 2006 when the movie first came out, and I ended up buying and reading the book as well. I don’t know if I actually believed it at first. I recall I manifested some money that I needed at the time which totalled a couple thousand dollars, but the way it came about was in a manner that I ignorantly chalked up to being a coincidence. Now I know it was the Law Of Attraction! Since then I have read the other books by Rhonda Byrne including The Power, The Magic, and Hero. While all the books are great, I found that it was reading The Magic that truly demonstrated to me that the Law Of Attraction is indeed very real. During the course of doing the daily magical practices, things happened to me that could in no way be chalked up to mere coincidence. I know they were a direct result of the heartfelt and inspired actions I was taking!

I now have all of these wonderful books sitting on my desk which I read through a little each day, they’re like my Bible. Previously I had read through all the books once or twice each, and afterwards I would feel good and usually have some favourable experiences and manifestations occur. When I stopped reading and practicing gratitude though, my life would get a little worse. And so over this past year, I have learned that studying and practicing the Law Of Attraction has to be done consistently in order to really permeate the material into the core of your being. That allows you to be more powerful and deliberately create your life how you want it to be with the help of the Universe. I am continuing to study and practice applying the Law Of Attraction so that I can be better at it.

Anyhow, getting back to my story. With my health recovered I now found myself needing a job fast. Using what I had learned, I simply believed that everything would work out fine for me and that I would find a good paying job in my field of work. I visualized the ideal job situation for me and then I ended up attracting a great job that I now love! And this all happened within three weeks which is the amazing part! Note that I still took the actions of going to job search sites, submitting my resume, going for interviews, etc. However, I took a very light-hearted approach to it and did not put any stress on myself. And through a seemingly crazy set of circumstances and serendipities the perfect job found me!

My advice to anyone reading this. I think the important thing with using the Law Of Attraction is that you actually apply it! It’s not enough just to read about it and comprehend it on an intellectual level, but rather you have to take what you’ve learned and actually use it in your own life. It will work if you work it.
