As few years ago I started my flight training to become a professional commercial pilot. I moved from Italy to the UK first, and then the US for a lot of reasons. Some of those were the love I felt for these two countries, and to improve my English. The major reason was the well known quality of the flight schools in these two countries. During my training I literally fell in love with the countries, and I really wanted to fly with English native speakers, when I was supposed to come back to Italy. This was really a hard one to expect, because there are only a few of the above flying in Italy.

The last course I attended granted me a flight instructor rating, and my first job was to fly as a flight instructor. Again, my dream was to teach how to fly to an English native speaker, because this would make me remember the amazing time I had abroad, something like still feeling to be there.

One day my boss told me he was going to meet a friend for lunch, a student from his school, who I was supposed to fly with for some lessons. Guess what? We went to the US Army base where this guy works as a paramedic. I met this Canadian guy, an English native speaker, to teach how to get his private pilot license!!

We immediately became friends, and one day after a lesson he said: “Dude, I was going to move from this school to another because I couldn’t find an instructor that could fit my needs.” Then he said, “I asked for a good flight instructor and after a couple of days I met you, Edoardo.”

I said, “Well, dude, I always ask for things that I want and visualize them, a sort of constant “open eyes daydreaming” I define it, because I think that we must be coherent with the things we ask for and make sure that our thoughts fit our everyday actions.”

He was astonished and he just said: “So you know The Secret! Good!”

I said, “I am sorry, I’ve never heard about it.”

After a couple of days he came to me with his personal copy of the book and gave it to me as a gift with some beautiful hand written words by him on the first page. I read the book and understood that I was completely aware of The Secret, but literally not trained to use it at the best, because my missing step was to keep feeling good always believe things are mine now. I was just simply desiring and saying, “One day.”

This experience literally extra boosted my life, which now is more than amazing, and it was very good anyway. I also remembered that I always had been very thankful for everything, and put a lot of love in things.
